NEW YORK, Oct. 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Presidio, Inc. (NASDAQ:PSDO) (together with its subsidiaries, “Presidio” or the “Company”), a leading North American IT solutions provider delivering Digital Infrastructure, Cloud and Security solutions to create agile, secure infrastructure platforms for its customers, announced today that it has been named to the Top 100 MSSP list for the second year in a row.

Published by After Nines Inc., the Top 100 MSSP rankings recognize the foremost managed security services providers (MSSPs) that specialize in comprehensive, outsourced cybersecurity services. Ranking are based on MSSP Alert’s readership survey and third-party aggregated research.

“We are honored to again be included on this list and recognized as an MSSP and trusted cybersecurity advisor for the second year in a row,” said Bob Cagnazzi, Chief Executive Officer of Presidio. “One key challenge our customers face today is maintaining cybersecurity as they modernize their IT infrastructure. As an MSSP, we can help them stay ahead of threats and focus their internal resources instead on leveraging digital transformation to drive business outcomes.”

In 2017, 77% of organizations in the world were victimized by one or more successful cyberattacks, according to research and marketing consulting group Cyber Edge. Meanwhile, protecting data and intellectual property against these attacks grows increasingly complicated and difficult. An enterprise often includes multiple networks, databases, applications, and cloud/Everything-as-a-Service solutions (XaaS). IT and InfoSec teams are bombarded with millions, sometimes billions, of security messages on a regular basis, often stretching the organization beyond its means and making it impossible to keep up.

“Among the company’s key points of differentiation: Presidio has its own security operations centers (SOCs) along with a next-generation risk management (NGRM) solution that many smaller IT service providers can’t afford to build or operate on their own,” MSSP Alert co-founder, executive vice president and editorial director Joe Panettieri wrote in a February 2018 MSSP Alert.com article.

Presidio’s NGRM 2.0 leverages an iterative cyber risk management platform to serve as a ready-made extension of an organization’s information security department. NGRM’s full lifecycle management includes cyber security consulting services for strategy, architecture, continuous testing and security operations. NGRM 2.0 introduced advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities so they can make the optimal investments protecting their data.
