NEW YORK, May 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — DataView VR, LLC (www.dataviewvr.com), a New York City based Virtual & Augmented Reality (VR & AR) software company, announced that it has officially released its first software solution: DataView 1.0. DataView is a software platform comprised of immersive, multi-dimensional data visualization tools.

Utilizing DataView’s patent pending VR & AR based software technologies, complex datasets are transformed into immersive visualizations. Numerous variables can be mapped to different attributes of physical objects, allowing users to more effectively discern, analyze and then communicate multi-variable relationships. While DataView is a VR & AR based platform, the solution can also be used on traditional screens.

DataView VR is led by founder Andy Maggio, a former Morgan Stanley senior investment analyst, and CTO Brennan McTernan, an experienced and accomplished VR/AR software developer.

Founder Andy Maggio states: “DataView VR’s technologies allow data users across many industries to develop faster and more powerful insights, transforming data presentation with immersive visualizations that facilitate more immediate connection and understanding. From the input we have received from our various Beta users, DataView is particularly useful when exploring complicated, multi-variable relationships.”

DataView VR is a part of the Glimpse Group, a Virtual and Augmented Reality platform company comprised of multiple VR and AR software & services start-ups, designed with the specific purpose of cultivating entrepreneurs in the VR/AR industry.
