Company increases investment in global partners to drive business growth

AUSTIN, Texas, May 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:XPLR) today announced that it has introduced a new channel partner program and enlisted several new distributors and resellers worldwide to support its growing rugged mobility business. The VXP (Valued Xplore Partner) Program was officially launched at Xplore’s Annual Worldwide Partner Conference on April 18, 2018, when a record number of rugged mobile technology experts gathered in Austin, Texas, to discuss customers’ evolving workforce mobility requirements and emerging market opportunities for Xplore as it expands its product portfolio beyond rugged tablets.

“This new channel program gives our partners the tools they need to pursue and win more deals, while extracting more value from every sale of an Xplore rugged mobility solution,” noted Debbie Russo, director of channel marketing, Xplore. “Our partners are highly energized about the growth opportunities that our expanding rugged mobility business model will bring to their own business.”

“We are very excited about the investment that Xplore is making in its partner relationships,” commented Jennifer Ward, product manager for mobile computers, Peak-Ryzex, an Xplore Platinum partner. “Many of our manufacturing and warehousing customers rely on high quality mobile computing technologies. Xplore’s newly defined partner program and broadening solutions portfolio enhances our ability to address a number of customer pain points very quickly, and with greater reward for both us and the customer.”

The new VXP Channel Partner Program leverages a well-defined, multi-tiered benefits structure to reward partners for their commitment to the sales, marketing and integration of Xplore rugged mobility solutions. For example, Platinum and Gold Resellers along with Distributors will receive a Volume Incentive Rebate (VIR), gain greater access to Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and receive a larger discount on demo units.

“We have experienced growing demand for Xplore rugged tablet solutions over the past year across multiple Canadian industries,” noted Paul Brannigan, president, Real World, an Xplore Silver partner. “With Xplore’s newly expanded channel program, we will be well-equipped to respond to each customer’s unique mobile technology requests with Xplore’s full support.”

Xplore Silver and Authorized Resellers will also be eligible for many of the new benefits to assist with the sales and marketing of Xplore rugged mobility solutions and grow their business to a higher tier within the Xplore VXP Channel Program. All Xplore partners will receive a “finder’s fee” incentive to register their deals through the new channel program, which enables closer engagement with the Xplore sales team.

“Xplore wants to provide tangible proof to its worldwide partners that their continued support is more than just appreciated,” continued Russo. “We value their rugged mobility and vertical industry expertise. Ultimately, our channel is an extension of Xplore and representative of our brand in the field. That is why we are increasing our investment in those partners who invest even more in Xplore. We are highly committed to their success.”
