SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Trifacta, the global leader in data wrangling, today announced that Kuecker Logistics Group Inc. (KLG) has deployed Trifacta Wrangler Edge to more productively wrangle supply chain data for its global customers. With Trifacta, KLG more effectively leverages diverse data stored in Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) to identify complex solutions for its customers’ material handling processes, which extend throughout giant warehouses and across the world.

“We analyze huge volumes of data from our customers, coming from all over their supply chain, to remedy inefficiencies in their material handling processes and implement a wide range of custom-designed solutions. Effectively preparing that data for analysis is critical,” said Matt Eskridge, supply chain project manager, Kuecker Logistics Group. “Before Trifacta, we relied on SQL and/or R to prepare data. With Trifacta Wrangler Edge accessing data on AWS S3, we’ve accelerated the process of preparing data for analysis and have expanded data wrangling to individuals that are more closely aligned to our customers’ needs, which has ultimately allowed us to deliver value faster.”

KLG provides cutting-edge solutions in logistics management and supply chain management, which includes everything from fully integrating multi-million dollar systems, to retrofitting existing warehouses, to providing equipment. Trifacta allows KLG to take in a variety of data sources from customers, including Access databases, text files, and Excel files, and more quickly transform it for analysis. The visual, interactive interface provides KLG with greater transparency at the beginning of the analytics process. With Trifacta as a key component, KLG has streamlined their analytics process, and now ingests raw customer data feeds directly into Amazon S3, quickly wrangles the data in Trifacta, and then seamlessly populates Tableau with the clean, structured data.

“Fortune 100 retailers across the globe depend on KLG to ensure they are operating at full performance with the most efficient material handling processes possible. We’re excited to help KLG democratize data wrangling across its organization in order to accelerate the cleansing and transformation of data used to design these innovative solutions,” said Adam Wilson, CEO, Trifacta. “KLG is a great example of the increased power of data once it’s in the right hands.”
