Huawei, one of the world’s largest smartphone OEMs, selected Synaptics® for its industry-leading capacitive-based performance, innovation, and time-to-market advantage.

Synaptics Natural ID fingerprint sensors are featured on the new Huawei Honor 7X and the Maimang 6. These latest Natural ID integrations add to the previously announced sensors selected for the Huawei Honor 6C, Honor 6A, Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones.

Synaptics TouchView™ TDDI, a technology pioneered by Synaptics, is featured on Huawei’s Honor 6A, Honor 9, Honor V10, Nova 2, Nova 2 Plus, Nova 3 Plus, Mate 9, P10, and P11 smartphones. Three of the Huawei models carry both TouchView and Natural ID including Honor 6A, Nova 2 and the Nova 2 Plus.
