There are more mobile users nowadays than desktop users and simply using an app is definitely much better than surfing a mobile website.
Mobile applications allow for a more personalized experience, can be used offline, are significantly faster than websites, and allow for easier notifications.
The studies are out and businesses now understand the need for apps but how do you market your application once it has been launched?

Organic traffic builds credibility and trust towards optimal ranking on the web and in application stores. However, to get the most bang for your launch it is essential to mix in some cash to get your app ranking fast in the stores.
Social media is one of the best free tools of our generation. Many newer companies do not invest the man power in simply just making relationships and building credibility and trust in their niche area.
Create accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram while adding as many people as you can in your area. It is important not to be too promotional but to network and reach out with valuable information that will spark interest in your new audiences.
Youtube is another free tool that can create a whole different funnel of visitors to your site or even directly to your buyer’s page in iTunes or Google Play. The main idea is to not be too promotional or spammy and to create a simple but direct informational video with content that has a purpose or an answer to a problem. Most research says to keep the video at around 30 seconds. The next step will be to increase your Youtube views and video likes to boost traffic.
Organic content has a couple of different aims when looking into a marketing strategy. The same objective is applied when creating content with social media or a video which is to give your audience a solution to a problem that is relative to your niche.
The better the solution, obviously the better the website traffic and ultimately increased links from other sites using your content. Link building is one of the main components of building credibility and climbing up the ranks on Google. In addition, if you create content for your website, this same content can be delivered on your social media platforms.
An application marketing campaign is not as traditional and straight forward as a website. Everyone knows that having more downloads will increase your ranking in the app store but there is a pretty crucial timeframe from when you first launch your application.
This crucial period is when you want to maximize downloads while increasing organic traffic. Once the downloads have achieved an optimal level and the organic traffic is somewhat sustainable; you can start to decrease spending on the ads.
This is also a good time to spend a bit of energy on understanding the loyal user’s likes/dislikes and why the others stopped using and deleted the app. The only way to keep your application profitable is to understand the people that are using the app.
