Top Tech Picks for the 2014 Holiday Season (Health, Security and view US based services anywhere in the world)

This is part 2 of my holiday gift guide. This will be relatively short as it covers two topics and several products that I highly suggest getting as stocking stuffers.

Let’s start off with health.

Maintaining good health is really important. What is your physiological age? Do you even know? How is your aortic stiffness? Well, why don’t you find out and order a few iHeartAlive devices so you can find out! I’ve been using iHeartAlive for a while, ever since it launched actually and I’ve loved it. Read my review here and buy it today! You won’t regret this purchase.

Security is another big topic. Huge actually. It bugs me that every day I hear about people getting hacked and then I find out they did absolutely nothing to protect themselves. If you can memorize your password, you’ve already failed the test. Yes, it’s true. So how can you protect yourself and your loved ones? Get LastPass and a Yubico Key and generate strong passwords and use the password manager. This device just fits on your keychain (if you get the YubiKey NEO). I strongly suggest getting one, I don’t know how much I can stress this. I use mine daily and I’d never look back on it. Read the review here (purchase link inside review). Yes, this was in the first part of my top tech picks, but really, seriously, pick one up.

Are you in Canada or anywhere else in the world and dying to use Hulu, Netflix in the US? Well, don’t look any further. The answer is here and is called UnoTelly. Ever since I started talking about UnoTelly at the feedback has been absolutely insane! The top searches for Unotelly go right here and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of you. If you’ve already read the review but you haven’t purchased an UnoTelly subscription, you really should! It’s super easy to setup!

Your own personal domain name. I own and I have for years. Why? Having a personal domain name really makes you look good and creates your own personal brand. Domains run under $20 / year and hosting is just cheap at under $7 / month. You can even just have the domain for email only, getting a [email protected] email address with email hosting from Outlook for free. There are many domain providers out there such as GoDaddy (which I recommend).

Stay tuned for part 3!
