Review: Dyson Cool AM-06 Fan, The Best Fan on the Market

Today is the last day of sweltering heat here and the AM-06 has proved its usefulness. I’ve been testing it out over the past few weeks after getting constant headaches of the sounds of air conditioners and noisy as heck fans running all day. The Dyson Cool AM-06 Desk Fan definitely surpassed my expectations.

Dyson really stands out on the market for their innovative products with their amazing design. The AM-06 Desk Fan definitely stands out in any type of decor. The main feature of the AM-06 is that is has no visible blades. It’s also 75% quieter than the AM-01 (released back in 2009). According to Dyson, they spent lots of time tuning the sound to be more enjoyable and not a frustration using a “Hemholtz acoustic cavity.” This makes it quiet.

I do wish the fan was a bit stronger though, I found that on speed 10, it really could push out more air. But not to say, it does a really good job at high speeds. I love that you can oscillate the fan and it’s super easy to setup, with an under 2 minute setup time.

You literally can have the Dyson fan right in front of your face without being distraction or have papers flying around everywhere, even on the highest of speeds. The fact that it comes with a remote control is an added bonus.

There are two models of the AM-06 available, one in 10 inches and one in 12 inches. Check them out here ! {rating}

Overall, the Dyson AM-06 is one of the most elegant fans I've ever used and it outperforms anything I've ever used. The Dyson AM-06 is more than your conventional fan, but you pay for the design and the fact that it won't drive you crazy being on 24/7. That in itself, is truly worth it.
