Wow. You know a product’s good when I start a review with “wow.” I’ve never been impressed about a lightbulb in my life. However, with Definity Digital’s “Awake & Alert” light, just wow. The Awake & Alert light is expensive holding a tag of $69.00 but what it promotes is just fantastic, and it does work.

The packaging is good and recyclable and is full of information about the bulb, that’s what you’d expect from a bulb with such a price tag.

So, the Awake & Alert light is a 9W LED bulb that well, you guessed it, it lights up your room at what a 65W bulb would provide. Not only that, it makes you awake and alert by using LED biologically-corrected lighting solutions. It boosts energy, promotes alertness and enhances performance. It outputs 720 lumens and costs you $1.08 / year in energy. Using Awake & Alert for 3 hours a day will last 22.8 years.

Now if that’s not fantastic, what is? Personally, I felt more alert when using the “Awake & Alert” bulb from Definity Digital. You should only need one per room or area as it really lights up the place.

For Canadians, they aren’t really available everywhere. You can’t find them in Home Depot or in Walmart, just in speciality stores unless you go to the USA. Hopefully more big box retailers pick up this product and distribute it cause Definity Digital definitely has something awesome going on here.  More info can be found here. {rating}
