PowerSkin®, maker of shock-absorbing, battery-boosting cases for smartphones and gaming accessories, is unveiling a new 2000 mAh pop-on battery charger intuitively named PoP’n, featuring small, flexible suction cups that adhere externally to mobile devices and connect via an interchangeable tip to a Micro-USB, Apple 30-pin or Apple Lightning connector.

This is one of the world’s first Apple MFI-approved external battery chargers for iPhone 5, available now, for which the solution for extra battery life has been highly anticipated.“PoP’n is all about convenience. From students gaming and enjoying social apps to business travelers multi-tasking between meetings, PoP’n serves as a charging solution for an array of devices and you can even use it without removing your current case,” said Jeniece Aragon, Marketing Director for XPAL Power. “It is slim, light-weight, fits discretely in any bag, and it’s fun to hear the POP as you take it off once your phone is recharged!

The PoP’n battery charger features a tough high-gloss plastic exterior, heat-injected soft rubber suction cups on the interior, and a grey rubber connector tip on the bottom that can flex up to 90 degrees to accommodate larger cases. Similar to all PowerSkin® cases, PoP’n includes the classic LED light strip on the back indicating the amount of battery charge remaining in the case. It extends power up to 70 percent, depending on the capacity of the battery in the device being charged, all within a slim 10 mm design and a featherweight of 86 grams.

PoP’n is available in black and white versions now at www.power-skin.com for $69.99 (Micro-USB connector) or $79.99 (Apple Lightning connector); red and pink versions available in the weeks to come.
