Yet again, another amazing project hits KickStarter and reached it’s funding goal almost instantly. The POP project was launched on Kickstarter 2 days ago (July 18th) and it has already hit it’s funding goal of $50,000. So what is POP? Keep reading.

Everyone these days has a smartphone or tablet device, or sometimes even both on them and these devices always need to be charged up. Especially when roaming around CES all day, charging your devices isn’t always the easiest task. At CES 2012 I met PowerBag and tested their Deluxe Backpack which has a 6,000 mAh battery in it. Yes, that is good power and it gets you by, and you can purchase a 9,000 mAh additional battery from them, but what if you want more power? That option isn’t there. So now there is POP, which offers a 25,000 mAh battery to charge your devices, that’s more than 4 times what PowerBag offers. Also, for more power you get more. The POP holds a retail price of $199.99 (Starting at $149.99 on Kickstarter) and offers way more.

“POP, aka “Portable Power”, is a rechargeable portable battery with retractable cord reels for simultaneously charging multiple devices.  Don’t be restricted by outlets or ugly chargers; with POP you are free to explore the vast world we live in, while remaining connected to it. “

When you consider how much power this puppy is packing,  $199.99 is a total bargain! Your crazy if you can’t see that. POP “pops” the life back into your mobile devices.
