Google: Android 4.0 now installed on 10.9 % of devices

According to the information on Google’s Android Developers page in June, Android 4.0 was installed on just 7.1% of all Android devices that have the Google Play store installed. It now appears that Android 4.0 has increased at a good pace in just a month.

The information on the on the Android Developers page shows that the Ice Cream Sandwich is now on 10.9% of all devices. It shows that Android 4.0 is finally getting up there when it was launched with the Nexus.

64% of Android users are still on Gingerbread (Android 2.3) but in June they were at 64% which is a good drop. 17.3% of Android devices are on Froyo (Android 2.2). Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) is just on 2.4% of all Android devices.
